We are building a future for our fandom, a safe place for all generations to come.
Thank you for bringing your child to Texas Furry Siesta, or allowing your child to bring you! We hope you have a wonderful experience here. To make your convention more enjoyable, we have staff who are dedicated solely to children and families, most of whom are parents who bring their children to the convention. The Cumberland AB on the Exhibition Level is reserved just for your child to play games, create, and be with other children. We’ll also be hosting panels and events designed for younger attendees. You can access the Exhibition level at the Reunion Tower Elevators.
Lost Parents
Children and parents must be linked in our registration system for safety purposes so that if we have an issue during the event the parent can be contacted. We recommend you tell your child that if you get separate, to meet you at our Family Friendly room (Cumberland AB). For registration information, please see the Minors section of our Registration page.
Rules
Cumberland AB is not a drop-off area. Please stay with your child at all times if they are 15 years old or under. Children ages 16-17 are allowed to attend by themselves with a notarized parental permission form.
Please observe the following rules:
- Parents must always remain in the room with their children.
- No profanity.
- All interactions between attendees must be G-rated.
- Read the [TFS Code of Conduct] for more information. <https://www.furrysiesta.org/attend/rules/>
Activities & Schedule
The Family Friendly area is staffed from Friday through Sunday during the hours listed below. You are, of course, free to attend any other events during the weekend.
All families may enjoy our “create your own badge” area or come doodle on table paper, and it will be auctioned off in our charity auction! We’ll have coloring book pages, too. Make and trade your own Swiftie Bracelets. Learn how to play D&D! Relax in Cumberland and get to know new furry friends your age and get lots of pictures with the fursuiters throughout the convention!
